as autumn embraced 
the land of zephyr kissed 
the sky with passion 
and still we slumbered dreamless

But for the sleepless who perceive, 
a blossom's tear 
will be a monument of those long faded summers 
and bears the seed of a new spring 
and those will feel no mourning as fall 
grands them a farewell kiss in the orchid-fileds 
because their gardens will gleam everlasting 
 

내 시든 정원의 난에게
우린 찬란했던 봄의 초원과 
수많은 꽃들에 취해
아름다움에는 눈을 감고
잠들어 버렸던 거예요.
가을이 어땠는지도 잊고,
눈도 멀었었지요.
西風이 하늘을 몰아치는 가을이 와서
얼마나 당황했는지
꿈도 사라지고 버림 받았는데
잠에 빠져 있었어요
그러나 깨어 있는 사람에겐
한 송이 꽃의 눈물은
이제는 희미해진 여름의 기념물이 되고
새로운 봄의 씨앗이 돼요.
그 씨앗을 심는 사람들은 슬프지 않을거예요
작별키스를 하며 가을이 깊어 가도
난초가 있는 그들의 정원은 영원히 빛날테니까요.
